  1. How do I get my name and email on a distribution list for the blog? I am a Hawes through Albert Gallatin Hawes who married his first cousin Susan Aylette Hawes (they were my GreatGreatGreat grandparents. Their daughter Nina Rienzi Hawes married Gustavus Brown Tyler and begat my Great Grandmother Adele Hawes Tyler. She married Henry Armendt and their daughter Heartley Alexander Armendt was my Grandmother. She married William Lawson Reno and my Father was William Lawson Reno Jr. Then I arrived!

    1. Alice I don’t know if you will receive this but I too am a Hawes cousin. I may have some of your tree added to my tree. If you get this feel free to contact me at alicemthomsen1@gmail.com My gr gr grandparents are Angus Ross who married Elizabeth Spencer Hawes. I figure somewhere further up the line might be someone with last name Spencer. Cuz Alice I love our names 🙂

  2. I have many Haws relatives who are descendants of Sampson Haws who married into the Troxell family. I am trying to post pictures on the find a grave website of some of my relatives who died during WW2. I am hoping to be able to locate pictures through other Haws descendants.

    1. Hello Dorotha,

My husband is also descended from Sampson Haws (1845 – 1916). His great grandfather was Clyde Haws who married Louverna Troxell in Texas. I would love to see how you are related!

      1. Three of my 2xgreat aunts married Haws boys. Louverna, Dora and Annetta. I have pictures of all of them on my Ancestry. It is public. MyGenesHistory. George & Martha Troxell were their parents. Forgive me but I have not separated my mothers and fathers ancestry – so there’s a lot of people in there. I never dreamed I would still be working on my ancestry 17 years later but I am.

  3. Can anyone definitively place wjhere Woodpecker is/was located? Thanks!
Alice Reno Malone ( decsendant of Albert Gallatin and Susan Hawes)
